Master carton label (4x6) with carton ID barcode, and scan the carton to fill box contents

Add a printable 4x6 carton label so a carton is handled once, labeled at receiving, and identified later without reopening it. Requested contents: - Ship To address (warehouse address) - Carton ID barcode with text, e.g. INSH-003 - Reference ID barcode with text, e.g. INSH-072026-1141858 - Identifiers section for UPC, EAN, ASIN, FNSKU (one of each, most recent only) - Two barcodes: FNSKU, plus UPC or EAN with UPC prioritized - Units in carton - Expiration date, when available - Carton number, e.g. 3 OF 200 Then in Outbound > FBA > Box Contents, allow scanning the carton ID barcode to load that carton's case configuration into a box, instead of adding one unit per scan. Also useful for clients to print and attach to boxes shipping direct from the manufacturer. Requested by a warehouse running several orders at once that currently loses time sorting cartons.

Webhook when a tracking number is added or updated

Hello PrepBusiness Support, We are planning to implement a semi-automated receiving workflow for Online Arbitrage packages in our prep center. We tested the β€œTracking – Updated” webhook. It appears to trigger when the carrier updates the delivery status, for example when a shipment is marked as delivered. However, it does not appear to trigger when a client adds or edits a tracking number in PrepBusiness. We would like to request a separate webhook event that is triggered whenever: a tracking number is added to an inbound shipment; an existing tracking number is modified; a tracking number is removed. Ideally, the webhook payload should include: tracking number; merchant/client ID and name; inbound shipment ID; inbound shipment status; date and time of the change; event type: tracking added, updated or removed. We need this functionality to synchronize announced tracking numbers with our receiving application. When a package arrives, our employee will scan it and the application will verify whether the tracking number was previously registered by the client. If such a webhook is not currently available, could you please confirm whether: You can add it as a new feature; You offer an API endpoint for searching inbound shipments by tracking number; The β€œInbound Shipment – Created” webhook contains the tracking number and merchant information; There is another existing method for detecting when a client adds or modifies a tracking number. This functionality would significantly improve our receiving process and reduce the manual handling of unannounced packages. Thank you.

One-Click Order Identification Labels with Barcode Support

Hi, I would like to suggest a feature that would allow users to print an order identification label with a single click. The label could include key information such as the supplier/retailer name, order number, and any other relevant order details selected by the user. This would be especially useful for prep centers that process orders in multiple stages. The label could be attached directly to a customer's tote, bin, or container, making it easy to identify and track orders throughout the entire workflow. Many prep centers handle large volumes of incoming packages every day. In many cases, staff members need to manually write order information on containers to keep everything organized. This process is time-consuming, inefficient, and increases the risk of errors. A dedicated label-printing feature would streamline operations and improve accuracy. Additionally, it would be highly beneficial if the label could automatically generate a barcode linked to the order. By scanning the barcode, users could be taken directly to the corresponding order within PrepBusiness, eliminating the need to manually search for it and significantly speeding up processing. To maximize flexibility, users should also be able to choose any installed printer, including standard desktop printers and thermal label printers. Benefits: Faster order identification and organization Reduced manual work and data entry Fewer operational errors Instant access to orders through barcode scanning Improved workflow efficiency Better scalability for high-volume operations Flexibility to use any installed printer This feature would benefit prep centers of all sizes and workflows, while being particularly valuable for operations handling large numbers of incoming orders and packages. Best regards, Constantin
